Fly Fishing Tuition at Glen Tanar

Fancy trying your hand at fly fishing? Or brushing up existing skills?

As a part of Aberdeenshire’s Provenance Festival, Glen Tanar Estate has joined forces with fly fishing specialist, TwinPeakes, to offer a unique experience in a truly stunning location - Glen Tanar’s trout loch.

Guided by the TwinPeakes’ experts – including Blaine Lyon, the UK mens’ record holder for distance casting – you’ll learn how to cast on the loch and there’ll also be a wee bit of friendly competition thrown in.

If you’re lucky enough to land a trout (and we really hope you are!), we will provide you with some seasonal recipes.
